Stock Market Updates, Stock Market Today India: Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty50 opened in green on Thursday (July 10) amid mixed global trends and ahead of Q1 earnings season, which is set to start today with TCS results.

The BSE Sensex opened at 83,658.20 on July 10, 2025, marking an increase from its previous closing value of 83,536.08. Similarly, the Nifty50 started the trading session at 25,511.65, reflecting a rise from its prior close of 25,476.10.

Notably, TCS will start the Q1 earnings season for FY26 with the declaration of its quarterly results today. Also, IREDA, Tata Elxsi, Oswal Pumps, Anand Rathi will also release their financial results today.

Meanwhile, Rupee rose 13 paise to 85.60 against US dollar in early trade on Thursday.

Stock markets closed lower on Wednesday due to selling in IT and oil & gas shares as investors turned cautious ahead of the start of earnings season and mixed global trends.

Dragged by late selling, the 30-share BSE Sensex fell by 176.43 points or 0.21 per cent to settle at 83,536.08. During the day, it lost 330.23 points or 0.39 per cent to 83,382.28. The 50-share NSE Nifty declined 46.40 points or 0.18 per cent to end at 25,476.10.

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) offloaded equities worth Rs 26.12 crore on Tuesday, according to exchange data. Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs), however, bought stocks worth Rs 1,366.82 crore.
